Founder · Programmer · AI Expert · UI/UX Designer
I build the systems between a business problem and a better customer experience.
I’m Lucinda de Bruin, the founder of Pink Avo AI Systems. My work combines computer programming, artificial intelligence, UI/UX design and conversion strategy to help small businesses turn disconnected tasks into clear, usable systems.
That combination matters because AI implementation is not only a technical exercise. A system can be powerful under the hood and still fail if the workflow is poorly defined, the interface is confusing, the team does not trust it, or the customer journey breaks between interest and action.
I work directly with every client, from understanding the process and identifying the right opportunity to designing the experience, building the workflow, testing the decision points and documenting how the system works.

What an AI system actually needs
AI implementation is more than adding an AI tool
A useful AI system is made of several layers working together. The model is only one of them.
- 01
Input
Forms, emails, documents, calls or messages provide the information the workflow needs.
- 02
Context
Business rules, approved knowledge and customer information give the AI enough context to work accurately.
- 03
Decision logic
Clear rules determine what the system may do, what it should recommend and when it must stop.
- 04
Human oversight
Important decisions, sensitive communication and exceptions remain visible to the right person.
- 05
Integration and measurement
The output must reach the CRM, inbox, calendar or operating tool, and the result must be measured so the workflow can improve.
That is why I start by mapping the real process rather than choosing a fashionable tool. I look for the smallest implementation that can produce a meaningful operational improvement, then build it in a way the business can understand and control.
The disciplines behind the work
Four disciplines, applied to one system
Computer Programming
I translate business requirements into working digital systems. That includes structuring data, connecting tools, implementing workflow logic, building interfaces and testing how each part behaves when real information moves through it.
AI Expertise and Implementation
I identify where AI is genuinely useful, select an appropriate approach, design prompts and decision rules, establish human checkpoints, test outputs and document the final workflow. The objective is reliable business use, not AI for its own sake.
UI/UX Design
I design the experience around the technology so that clients, staff and customers know what to do next. Clear hierarchy, useful feedback, accessible interfaces and thoughtful interaction design make sophisticated systems feel straightforward.
Booking Funnel Conversion Support
Improve the journey between landing page and booked call through clearer page messaging, focused calls to action, follow-up emails, DM or SMS messages and objection-handling content.
Lead generation creates attention. Funnel conversion turns that attention into a clear next step.
How these skills work together
One person looking at the whole system
A lead-generation campaign, an AI workflow and a customer-facing interface should not be treated as isolated projects. They affect one another.
The message on a landing page shapes the quality of the enquiry. The form determines what information enters the workflow. The scoring logic affects who receives attention first. The follow-up experience influences whether a qualified prospect books. The CRM and reporting layer show where the journey is working and where it is leaking.
My role is to connect those pieces: commercial strategy, technical implementation and user experience. This creates systems that are not only functional, but understandable, adoptable and aligned with the outcome the business is trying to achieve.
Working principles
How every engagement is run
Serving South African and international clients remotely. All work is quoted in ZAR with scope, assumptions and exclusions stated upfront.
Understand the workflow before choosing the tool
A workflow can only be improved once someone has sat with the people doing it and written down what really happens, including the parts nobody documents.
Build the smallest useful system first
A modest workflow in daily use is worth more than an ambitious one still being configured. We aim for something real, then extend it.
Keep people informed and in control
Nothing goes live in your business without you seeing it and approving it first, and every system has an explicit point where a person decides.
Measure the outcome, not the novelty
We define how we will know whether the workflow helped before we build it, then review it against real use.
Design for adoption
A system only creates value when people can understand it, trust it and use it consistently.
